中文：傳國玉璽：簡稱“傳國璽”，是秦代丞相李斯奉始皇帝之命，用藍田玉鐫刻而成，為中國歷代正統皇帝的證憑。
其方圓四寸，上紐交五龍，正面刻有李斯所書“受命於天，既壽永昌”八篆字，以作為“皇權天授、正統合法”之信物。
English: Heirloom Seal of the Realm was the symbol of legitimacy for emperors during Imperial China. The words, "Having received the Mandate from Heaven, may (the emperor) lead a long and prosperous life." (受命於天, 既壽永昌) were written by Prime Minister Li Si.
