Buddhisme di Filipina

Buddhisme Esoterik Filipina merujuk kepada tradisi Buddha Esoterik yang ditemukan di kepulauan Filipina serta Asia Tenggara Maritim yang muncul pada abad ke-7 di sepanjang rute dagang maritim dan kota pelabuhan di pulau Jawa dan Sumatra serta Malaysia.[1] Turunan kata dalam konteks Buddha muncul dalam bahasa di Filipina.[2][3]
Temuan arkeologi dan beberapa rujukan soal keberadaan agama Buddha di Filipina berasal dari abad ke-9 dan seterusnya di kepulauan tersebut.[1]
