David Smith (28 Oktober 1872 – 25 April 1930) adalah seorang sutradara Inggris pada era film bisu. Ia menyutradarai 79 film antara 1915 dan 1927. Ia lahir di Faversham, Kent, dan wafat di Santa Barbara, California. Ia adalah kakak dari Albert E. Smith, salah satu pendiri Vitagraph Studios.
