Gosei (diaspora Jepang)

Gosei (五世, "Generasi kelima") adalah sebuah istilah diaspora Jepang yang dipakai di berbagai negara, terutama Amerika Utara dan Amerika Latin, untuk menyebut canggah para imigran Jepang (Issei). Anak-anak Issei adalah Nisei (generasi kedua). Sansei adalah generasi ketiga, dan keturunan mereka adalah Yonsei.[1] Anak dari setidaknya satu orang tua Yonsei disebut Gosei.[2]
Karakter dan keunikan Gosei diakui dalam sejarah sosialnya.[3] Gosei adalah subyek riset akademik di Amerika Serikat dan Jepang.[4]
