Horace Capron (31 Agustus 1804 – 22 Februari 1885) adalah seorang pengusaha dan agrikulturalis Amerika Serikat, pendiri Laurel, Maryland, perwira Union dalam Perang Saudara Amerika, Menteri Pertanian Amerika Serikat di bawah kepemimpinan Presiden AS Andrew Johnson dan Ulysses S. Grant, dan penasehat Kementerian Pembangunan Hokkaidō Jepang.[1] Koeksi seni rupa dan artefak Jepang miliknya dijual kepada Smithsonian Institution usai kematiannya.[2]
