Jembatan Baturusa atau yang kini dikenal sebagai Jembatan Baturusa 1 adalah sebuah jembatan yang terletak di Pulau Bangka, Kepulauan Bangka Belitung. Jembatan Baturusa melewati Sungai Baturusa yang merupakan sungai terpanjang di Pulau Bangka. Jembatan ini menghubungkan ibukota provinsi Kepulauan Bangka Belitung, Pangkalpinang dengan Sungailiat (ibukota Kabupaten Bangka) dan dilalui jalan nasional, tepatnya di km.12 Jalan Raya Pangkalpinang - Sungailiat.

Sejarah

Jembatan Baturusa terbuat dari rangka baja (Callender Hamilton) yang dibangun pada tahun 1979. Pembangunan jembatan ini dilaksanakan pada tahun 1978 dan diresmikan pada Senin, tanggal 16 Juli 1979 oleh Menteri Pekerjaan Umum RI ke- 17, Purnomosidi Hadjisarosa.^[1]

Jembatan kembar

Untuk memudahkan transportasi di Pulau Bangka, dari 2016 hingga 2018, sebuah jembatan baru dibangun di sisi Jembatan Baturusa lama sehingga kini dikenal sebagai Jembatan Baturusa Kembar.^[1] Pada tanggal 22 Desember 2018 jembatan baru telah dibuka untuk umum.

Jembatan lama dipergunakan untuk satu arah dari Sungailiat menuju Pangkalpinang dan Jembatan yang baru digunakan untuk satu arah sebaliknya.^[1]
