Mýrdalsjökull (diucapkan [ˈmirˌtalsˌjœːkʏtl̥] (
simak), Bahasa Islandia untuk "(the) mire dale gletser" atau "gletser lembah lumpur") adalah tudung es di puncak gunung berapi Katla di selatan Islandia. Tudung es ini berada di utara kota Vík í Mýrdal dan di sebelah timur tudung es yang lebih kecil Eyjafjallajökull.

[sunting | sunting sumber]- ^ All mappings of Mýrdalsjökull catchments identified had elements that suggest only partial mapping of surface glacial catchments for Mýrdalsjökull may exist hence the area of uncertainty assigned to Mýrdalsjökull in this mapping. Different mappings exist in some of the sources used in this article including subsurface catchments for jökulhlaups.[4][5]
