Mathilde Blind (nama lahir Mathilda Cohen; 21 Maret 1841 – 26 November 1896),[1] adalah seorang penyair, penulis fiksi, biografer, esayis dan kritikus Inggris kelahiran Jerman. Pada awal 1870an, ia menjadi estetikawati pionir di komunitas seniman dan penulis yang kebanyakan anggotanya adalah laki-laki. Pada akhir 1880an, ia meraih ketenaran di kalangan penulis Wanita Baru seperti Vernon Lee (Violet Paget), Amy Levy, Mona Caird, Olive Schreiner, Rosamund Marriott Watson, dan Katharine Tynan. Ia dipuji oleh Algernon Charles Swinburne, William Michael Rossetti, Amy Levy, Edith Nesbit, Arthur Symons dan Arnold Bennett. Puisi buatannya yang banyak didiskusikan The Ascent of Man dipersembahkan sebagai tanggapan feminis khas terhadap teori evolusi Darwin.[2]
