Morten Strange

Morten Strange

Morten Strange (lahir 18 September 1952) adalah seorang fotografer burung, penulis dan penerbit berkewarganegaraan Denmark. Ia dikenal karena fotografi burung-burung di Singapura.

Karier

Strange lahir di Kopenhagen, Denmark. Ia bekerja pada sebuah industri minyak tepi pantai di Laut Utara dan Asia sebagai ahli mesin, dan pensiun pada 1986 sebagai supervisor.

Sebelum dan sesudah pensiun, Strange merupakan fotografer burung yang aktif, penulis, dan editor. Ia banyak menulis buku terutama yang berhubungan dengan burung tentang burung hutan hujan di wilayah Asia Tenggara. Ia adalah kepala editor Nature Watch, majalah resmi Nature Society (Singapura) dari 2009-2012. Dia sekarang menjadi editor pengelola Draco Publishing and Distribution Pte Ltd yang mana ia tengah mempersiapkan sebuah buku baru, Hornbills of the World: A Photographic Guide, yang akan diterbitkan pada Januari 2013.
