Kehidupan awal

Ia adalah putra dari Cathy (née Roberts), seorang perawat, dan Ric Offerman, yang mengajar ilmu sosial di sebuah SMP dekat Channahon.[1][2][3] Offerman dibesarkan secara Katolik[4][5] dan menerima gelar Bachelor of Fine Arts dari University of Illinois di Urbana–Champaign pada tahun 1993.
