Paolino Veneto

Paolino Veneto[1] (skt. 1272 – 22 Juni 1344) adalah seorang inkuisitor, diplomat, dan sejarawan Fransiskan Italia. Ia menjabat sebagai duta besar untuk Republik Venesia dan Kepausan. Dari tahun 1324 hingga kematiannya, ia menjadi uskup Pozzuoli. Ia juga menjabat sebagai anggota dewan kerajaan Raja Roberto dari Napoli. Ia menulis tiga kronik universal dalam bahasa Latin–Epithoma, Compendium, dan Satirica–dan sebuah cermin untuk para pangeran dalam bahasa Venesia.
