Penamaan: "Hurikan" atau "Siklon tropis"?

Tak lama setelah artikel ini dibuat dengan judul "Siklon tropis Ida", pengalihan dibuat menuju halaman dengan judul "Hurikan Ida", yang mana dapat diterima oleh saya, yang hanya menerjemahkan artikel tersebut dari versi Bahasa Inggris. Akan tetapi, terdapat ketidakkonsistenan dalam halaman lain yang juga disebutkan dalam artikel ini, di mana Hurikan Katrina dan Hurikan Laura menggunakan "Hurikan", sedangkan Siklon tropis Ike menggunakan "Siklon tropis". Jika ingin mengikuti penamaan dalam artikel mengenai siklon tropis, berarti apa Siklon tropis Ike juga perlu dialihkan ke Hurikan Ike, karena berada di Atlantik?

Sebagai catatan, ini pertama kalinya saya membaca dan menyunting mengenai siklon tropis di Wikipedia.
