Mulai dari pengaruh bahasa hingga budaya seakan tak ada asli budaya Palembang, bahkan orang Palembang yang notabennya adalah orang Melayu di artikel ini seakan dihilangkan entitas Kemelayuannya sehingga seluruhnya mengadopsi budaya Jawa dan Minang.
