Beda "tuak" dan "legen"

- Istilah "Tuak" digunakan sebagai istilah umum untuk minuman fermentasi beralkohol di Indonesia. Tuak biasanya dari fermentasi nira atau beras. Legen adalah nira yang belum terfermentasi dan tidak mengandung alkohol. Bila tuak didistilasi akan menjadi minuman jenis arak (minuman) yang beralkohol lebih tinggi. em (bicara) 16 Juni 2013 23.52 (UTC)
- Hmmm... Tapi menurut Kamus Besar Bahasa Indonesia, tuak itu "minuman beralkohol yg dibuat dr nira aren (kelapa, siwalan) yg diragikan", tidak ada penyebutan beras. Minuman keras dari beras disebutkan sebagai arak: "1 minuman keras, biasanya dibuat dr beras yg difermentasikan". sentausa (bicara) 11 Juli 2013 11.10 (UTC)
