SAT

SAT Reasoning Test (dahulu Scholastic Aptitude Test atau Scholastic Assessment Test) adalah tes standar untuk penerimaan mahasiswa baru di perguruan tinggi di Amerika Serikat. SAT dimiliki, diterbitkan, dan dikembangkan oleh Dewan Sekolah Tinggi, sebuah organisasi nirlaba di Amerika Serikat.

Amerika Serikat menerapkan tes berbasis kertas untuk penerimaan mahasiswa baru. Lembaga yang membuat tes itu bernama College Board. Terdapat 2 bagian dalam SAT yaitu bagian utama dan bagian opsional. Bagian utama adalah tes membaca, menulis dan matematika. Sedangkan bagian yang opsional adalah esai.
