Ia muncul pada The Universe di History Channel, Through the Wormhole with Morgan Freeman di Science Channel, Closer to Truth (disiarkan di PBS),[2] dan The Colbert Report di Comedy Central. Carroll adalah pengarang Spacetime And Geometry, sebuah buku pelajaran tingkat kelulusan tentang relativitas umum, dan juga merekam ceramah-ceramah untuk The Great Courses tentang kosmologi, fisika waktu, dan Higgs boson.[3] Ia juga mengarang tiga buku:From Eternity to Here, The Particle at the End of the Universe, dan The Big Picture: On the Origins of Life, Meaning, and the Universe Itself.
