Shyamala Gopalan

Shyamala Gopalan (7 April 1938 – 11 Februari 2009) adalah seorang ilmuwan biomedikal Amerika Serikat kelahiran India, yang karyanya dalam mengisolasi dan mengkarakterisasi gen reseptor progesteron menciptakan kemajuan dalam biologi payudara dan onkologi. Ia adalah ibu dari Wakil Presiden Amerika Serikat Kamala Harris dan Maya Harris, seorang pengacara dan komentator politik.
