Sidney McCall (8 Maret 1865 – 11 Januari 1954), nee Mary McNeill, lalu Mary McNeil Fenollosa, adalah seorang novelis dan penyair Amerika. Beberapa novelnya menjadi film.
Kehidupan awal
[sunting | sunting sumber]McCall lahir sebagai Mary McNeill (kemudian menjatuhkan salah satu huruf l) di Wilcox County, Alabama, dari pasangan William Stoddard McNeill, seorang letnan Tentara Konfederasi dari Mobile, Alabama, dan Laura Sibley. McCall adalah anak tertua dari lima bersaudara.
Film
[sunting | sunting sumber]The Breath of the Gods didasarkan pada novelnya dengan nama yang sama. The Eternal Mother, sebuah film bisu tahun 1917 yang hilang, berdasarkan "Red Horse Hill" miliknya. The Dragon Painter (1919) didasarkan pada novelnya The Dragon Painter.[1]
