The East Is Red (Hanzi sederhana: 东方红; Hanzi tradisional: 東方紅; Pinyin: Dōngfāng Hóng), juga dikenal sebagai The East Is Red: A Song and Dance Epic, adalah sebuah film Tiongkok tahun 1965 garapan Wang Ping. Film tersebut berdasarkan pada "epik tari dan lagu" yang mendramatisir sejarah Revolusi Tiongkok dan Partai Komunis Tiongkok di bawah kepemimpinan Mao Zedong, dari permulaan Gerakan Empat Mei,[1] sampai Perang Saudara melawan Partai Nasionalis, kemenangan Komunis dan pendirian Republik Rakyat Tiongkok.
