U1 adalah salah satu jalur U-Bahn, dengan panjang jalur 8.8 km dan 13 stasiun. Nama jalur lamanya adalah B^II. Rute jalur ini adalah timur-barat dan bagian terminus timurnya adalah ujung selatan dari Schlesischen Bahn (perpanjangan Berlin Stadtbahn) di stasiun kereta Berlin Warschauer Straße.

Meski seksi utama antara Wittenbergplatz dan Schlesisches Tor telah ditandai sebagai Jalur 1 sejak 1966, ujung barat jalur ini telah berganti 2 kali. Seksi timur jalur ini adalah bagian paling tua dari sistem U-Bahn Berlin.
