Prof. Burhanuddin Muhtadi, M.A., Ph.D. (lahir 15 Desember 1977) adalah seorang Akademisi, Penulis, dan saat ini Direktur Eksekutif Indikator Politik Indonesia. Sebagai Dosen ia di Prodi Ilmu Politik, FISIP Universitas Islam Negeri Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta dan Pascasarjana Universitas Paramadina mengajar mata kuliah Partai Politik dan Pemilu dan Perilaku Politik.[1] Selain sebagai akademisi, dia juga dikenal sebagai peneliti senior di Lembaga Survei Indonesia (LSI).

Ia mendapatkan gelar doktor dalam bidang ilmu politik dari Universitas Nasional Australia (ANU) di Canberra pada tahun 2018. Ia mengangkat disertasi yang berjudul "Buying Votes in Indonesia: Partisans, Personal Networks, and Winning Margins". Disertasi tersebut kemudian diterbitkan oleh Palgrave McMillan pada Mei 2019 dalam buku berjudul "Vote Buying in Indonesia: The Mechanics of Electoral Bribery". Sementara itu, versi berbahasa Indonesia, "Kuasa Uang: Politik Uang dalam Pemilu Pasca-Orde Baru", yang diterbitkan oleh Kepustakaan Populer Gramedia.
Penghargaan
- 2019 - Indonesian Platinum and Best Corporate Award, Penghargaan diberikan untuk kategori ‘The Most Trusted Survey Institution Company of The Year’ (Lembaga Survei Paling Terpercaya Tahun 2019).
- 2018 - Young Southeast Asia Fellow Award, Penghargaan diberikan oleh Konsorsium Universitas di Amerika Utara (SEAREG) untuk menyoroti penelitian baru terbaik oleh ilmuwan sosial muda yang bekerja di bidang politik Asia Tenggara.
- 2016 - The 11th Singapore Graduate Forum on Southeast Asian Studies, Penghargaan diberikan oleh Asian Research Institute of National University of Singapore untuk mengikuti program Beasiswa Penelitian Asia.
- 2016 - Indonesia-Singapore Young Leaders Award, Penghargaan diberikan oleh S Rajaratnam Endowment (SRE), S. Rajaratnam School of International Studies (RSIS), dan RSIS’ Indonesia Programme untuk para pemimpin muda yang baru muncul dari Indonesia dan Singapura untuk melakukan lokakarya di Singapura.
- 2013 - Australia Awards Scholarship for PhD Program, Penghargaan diberikan oleh the Australian Agency for International Development (AusAID) untuk mengambil program doktoral di Australian National University.
