Jay Wijayanto adalah konduktor paduan suara, ahli pelatihan suara, aktor film, desainer batik, penulis, fasilitator pengembangan organisasi dan pemberdayaan masyarakat, pengembang kuliner Nusantara, perancang program dan gerakan sosial, perancang pertunjukan panggung dan terlibat secara aktif dalam berbagai kegiatan seni dan gerakan penguatan masyarakat pertanian dan pesisir.

[1] Jay Lahir di Magelang, Jawa Tengah, pada 18 Februari 1966. Dia telah bekerja sebagai profesional dalam program manajemen di sejumlah lembaga internasional, seperti USAID-Johns Hopkins University, Hivos-Belanda, CRS Baltimore USA, USC Canada, serta membuat pertunjukan serta mengikuti kompetisi di sejumlah negara Eropa sejak tahun 1984.

Saat ini, Jay, begitu ia dipanggil, mengelola The Indonesia Children Choir dan The Indonesia Choir yang mengangkat berbagai musik tradisional Indonesia dalam format paduan suara. Selain itu, dia juga mengelola Resto Rempah Kita di Plaza Indonesia dengan mengembangkan kuliner Nusantara.

Pada perhelatan Pemilihan Umum Presiden 9 Juli 2014, Jay terlibat dan mengambil tanggung jawab di beberapa kegiatan, antara lain

  • Koordinator Pawai Budaya Salam 3 Jari, 20 Oktober 2014
  • Pelaksana penyiapan lokasi Pidato Kemenangan di kapal Phinisi, Pelabuhan Sunda Kelapa
  • Koordinator dan penggagas Flashmob 2000 penari di Bunderan HI pada 22 Juni 2014.
  • Administrator dan pengelola isi Facebook resmi Ir H Joko Widodo di Media Center Cemara.
  • Koordinator supporter (relawan) di semua acara debat Capres dan Cawapres di televisi dan beberapa diskusi off air.
