Kejahatan perang Turki

Kejahatan perang Turki merupakan pelanggaran hukum pidana internasional (termasuk kejahatan perang, kejahatan kemanusiaan, dan kejahatan genosida) yang telah dilakukan atau dituduh dilakukan oleh pasukan bersenjata dan paramiliter resmi Turki. Tuduhan ini juga mencakup membantu dan bersekongkol dalam kejahatan yang dilakukan oleh aktor non-negara yang berpihak pada Turki, termasuk kelompok pemberontak di Suriah. Kejahatan perang ini mencakup pembantaian, penyiksaan, terorisme, deportasi atau pemindahan paksa, penculikan, kekerasan seksual, penjarahan, penahanan yang tidak sah, serangan udara yang tidak sah, dan serangan tanpa pandang bulu terhadap bangunan sipil.

Dibentuk setelah Perang Dunia I, para pendiri negara-bangsa Turki modern melakukan banyak kekejaman selama Perang Kemerdekaan, dan melanjutkan banyak kebijakan genosida Kesultanan Utsmaniyah terhadap penduduk Kekristenannya, khususnya terhadap orang Armenia dan Yunani. Setelah berdiri secara resmi pada tahun 1923, Republik Turki melakukan banyak pelanggaran hak asasi manusia terhadap suku Kurdi (baik di dalam maupun di luar perbatasannya) selama konflik Kurdi-Turki yang berlangsung lama. Turki telah menghadapi banyak tuduhan melakukan kejahatan perang di negara lain, termasuk di Siprus, Suriah, dan Libya.
