Jembatan Pandansimo adalah sebuah jembatan pada ruas Jalan Lintas Selatan Jawa dan merupakan jembatan terpanjang di DIY (paling panjang ke-3 di Pulau Jawa; setelah Jembatan Nasional Suramadu di Jawa Timur dan jembatan Pasupati di Bandung, Jawa Barat). Jembatan ini terdiri dari jalan pendekat, slab on pile dan jembatan utama dengan tipe multi arch bridge yang menggunakan corrugated steel plate dan mortar busa dengan nilai kontrak sebesar Rp 814,8 miliar.^[1]

Jembatan Pandansimo atau yang juga dikenal dengan sebutan Jembatan Srandakan III ini memiliki keunikan berupa hadirnya gunungan dengan motif batik khas Yogyakarta di bagian tengah jembatan. Merujuk makna gunungan sebagai simbol awal dan akhir dalam pewayangan, pada jembatan di Kabupaten Kulonprogo itu dimaknai sebagai wilayah perbatasan antarprovinsi. Jembatan ini memiliki warna yang khas, yakni berwarna terracotta -- serupa dengan warna bata merah--yang mewakili warna makam raja-raja di Imogiri. Selain itu, ada tanaman khas Pantai Selatan dan Pantai Pandansimo yang dihadirkan di jembatan tersebut, antara lain, cemara udang.^[2]
